The Friends of Whitefish Point runs an Owl Banding Station during the spring, summer and fall at Whitefish Point. Visit and learn about the wonders of migrating owls. You'll even have a chance to see an owl up close!

The donation for your ticket goes directly towards supporting our long-term monitoring project so that we can continue to do this critical work and share it with many more people.

Details to know ahead of time:

**There are no bathrooms at the banding station. There is an outhouse at the harbor, about a half mile away.

**Please wear weather-appropriate clothing- this is an outdoor activity in the UP and it is always colder at the Point.

**Please bring either a flashlight or phone flashlight, as the lighting at the banding station will be dim, and the walk there and back will be dark.

**The event is scheduled for 1.5 hours, but may go a little more or less depending on the situation. The start/end time of the event moves later as the nights get shorter.
